Our next event:

Saturday, September 27, 2014; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
Annual Harvest Festival. The crops are in and the woodshed is full; another season is upon us. The cider press will be turning, and we will be baking cookies in the oven of the kitchen’s wood cookstove. Come and sample the fruits of our labor amidst the beauty of autumn at Field’s Pond.

Jitterbug Pulling Challenge at 11:00 a.m.: Come see cleverly-engineered c. 1930 vehicles pull tons and tons of weight in an exciting challenge to see who gets the “bragging rights!”

The Curran Homestead is a non-profit educational center that preserves and perpetuates the culture, values and lifestyle of the family farm in rural eastern Maine and relies upon membership, donations, and our local community for support.

Join us for family fun!
